We are in the process of installing new water supplies to a number of rural properties at Putsborough, North Devon. This involves laying over 3000 metres of new water pipe, across some steep terrain, and in all weathers, bringing the new supplies down to the properties from South West Water’s main which is situated some distance away. The job has been two years in the planning because of the number of landowners and properties involved. We are using heavy plant and trenchless technology (‘moling’).
